The Pro 500 includes a 7-hour battery that can charge the smartphone that is docked in it and an integrated webcam for video chats. So I bit the bullet and bought a Lapdock 500 Pro two days ago.Thought the screen is physical larger, the resolution is the same at 1366x768, I found the fonts are not rendered nearly as well on the 500 as they are on the 100 and therefore making the 500 less readable. The mouse pad and keyboard size on the 500 is nicer that the 100; however, the left/right buttons are harder to press and must be pressed toward the center (non-functional toward the outside). The quality of the VGA out is limited. In my case, I really did not have the need for the VGA out, camera, or ethernet and I can get by without the SD reader, so the only plus' of having the Lapdock 500 is the extend battery life, keyboard size, and screen size...
