Also, even though this is a 9-cell, with a supposed 7800mAh rating, it's only lasting 2hrs 10min, which was a little worse than the 6-cell it replaced (when the 6-cell was new - it lasts about 30min now, and every few weeks, it won't charge - I get a blinking red light until I power-down, and then start back up - Note: that is about the old battery - if you're seeing that, the end is near :). For the price, it wasn't a bad deal. I didn't want to pay for Dell's overpriced replacements, and I rarely need to go on battery, but still, I was expecting better performance. I knew the Dell insignia was a trick, but with all the negative reviews on ALL of the other batteries out there for my Vostro, I figured I'd give it a shot.
